spooks
1 Are you sure there are no security issues using this on the public side of your site? 2. Unless they have changed their terms, you must pay a licence to use that that way. Quote Sam Remember, What you think I ment may not be what I thought I ment when I said it. Hi Sam, Im not sure about the security issue, I have limited the options in the editor to keep it simple where no upload options are available. . I will look into that... Regarding the licence fee, yes I'm awear of it... try it before you buy it. :D Ronnie

www.in.no
The CKEditor is open source ( GPL, LGPL and MPL open source licenses) and i think it can be included in oscommerce installations without violating the terms. The CKFinder is different. CKEditor is distributed under the GPL, LGPL and MPL open source licenses. This triple copyleft licensing model avoids incompatibility with other open source licenses. These Open Source licenses are specially indicated for: Integrating CKEditor into Open Source software; Personal and educational use of CKEditor; Integrating CKEditor in commercial software, taking care of satisfying the Open Source licenses terms, while not able or interested on supporting CKEditor and its development. But if i missunderstand the terms here, please correct me. There was also created one support threadt for this contribution before. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/353005-contribution-ckeditor-wyswyg/ If any MODS can delete, move or combind the 2 treads it will be fine. No need for 2 treads for this.

www.in.no
You have to compare the code and include the class=ckeditor to the tep_draw_textarea string fot thoose addons.
musicall
You have to compare the code and include the class=ckeditor to the tep_draw_textarea string fot thoose addons. I tried that but I guess I am not doing it right for examples in newsletter.php : <?php echo TEXT_NEWSLETTER_CONTENT; ?></td> <td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_textarea_field('content', 'soft', '100%', '20', $nInfo->content,'class="ckeditor"'); ?> nothing changed

Francys
I tried to install fckeditor (seems CKeditor is better according to www.fckeditor.com) and downloaded as http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/2900. Is there a way to manually install without the auto installer (my admin folder is renamed and that can't be done in auto installer)
hasaudio
Hi I tried to use the autoinstaller this morning, and got this message on all admin pages: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_draw_fckeditor() (previously declared in /home/hasaudio/public_html/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php:275) in /home/hasaudio/public_html/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 370 Can someone help?
