Yiorgis 0 Posted May 8, 2003 ...has any one gotten the Cool menu and the enable/disable contribution working together. I have cool menu working fine on the site. However, the enable/disable contribution does not work for the cool menu. Disabled categories still show up in the cool menu. Any help would be appreciated! flancrest 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Hi there! First, really cool contribution! :D Now, here?s my problem: I?ve installed coolmenu, it works, but i have a problem, the other boxes disappear behind coolmenu. Can be seen at http://shop.rollsurfing-funsport.de Who can give me a hint?
matbennett 1 Posted May 12, 2003 Flancrest, The size of the box is determined by an image in /catalog/includes/boxes/coolmenu.php Play about with that and you should get your menus back.
moyashi 0 Posted May 13, 2003 Can this also do a drop down from the top, instead of from the side? What I mean is I'd like to set it up like tabs up under the navigation bar. Infobox style is nice and all but ... I'm thinking out of the "box" right now  NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::

moyashi 0 Posted May 14, 2003  doh  menu settings are in the includes/coolmenu.php file. Now, I just have to find a way to make this go horizontal instead of verticle. Any clues? NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::

moyashi 0 Posted May 14, 2003  Boy am I having a rough day. You can do the drop downs by turning on rows and then using the offset settings. Great ... NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
RivalCloud 0 Posted May 15, 2003 how do you change the coolMenu header on the table to something else like Categories?
moyashi 0 Posted May 16, 2003 eh? come again? coolmenu shows categories. hmmm, trying to get to show something else than categories would seem quite difficult. Or did I misunderstand? NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
RivalCloud 0 Posted May 16, 2003 I think you misunderstood, coolmenu resides inside a table, so it'd be like <tr><td>coolmenu</td></tr> <tr><td> the actual cool menu script </td></tr> I want to change the coolmenu text into something else.

moyashi 0 Posted May 16, 2003 Ahh, that one. It's hardcode in the script. [the solution to the above question in case if someone else has the same problem.] @ idea Imagine all these variables and options running through the admin  NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
DnemoniX 0 Posted May 16, 2003 I installed the coolMenu on my test machine and everything seems to be working fine. Then I uploaded the changed files to the production site. Somethign is wrong. I get the menu and the roll over works fine, but it doesn't expant out the products under each category, or show an arrow indicating more items. I went step by step back through the install instructions and I can't find the problem. I ahve do be missing something silly. Any suggestions? Paul
TimP 0 Posted May 18, 2003 Has anyone got coolmenu working with Linda's center shop contribution, when you change screen sizes the menu repositions itself, any ideas :?: tim :?
Johnson 0 Posted May 18, 2003 Thanks for a neat contribution Andreas... :D Just a small question... in my subcategories I would like to remove the border around the individual subcategory names.... I altered the border to: oCMenu.level[0].borderY=0 However, that also removes the border at the top and bottom of the box, which I would like to keep. Is there a simple way to do this? Matti Ressler We were all once expert at...... nothing _____
moyashi 0 Posted May 18, 2003 :x I played with the settings for like 2 hours the other day. Seems like something is fishy with the code. I could get double borders on the left but none on the right ... the right border was going over the left one ... oh well. I decided that the time wasn't worth it ... I wonder if coolmenus is up-to-date with the orginal release ? NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
ukguy 0 Posted May 18, 2003 Hi, thanks for the Coolmenu contribution, it works great for me apart from one small niggling thing. If search engine friendly urls are enabled, the links on the menu just report page errors. Any ideas? Thank you, Adam
noteability 0 Posted May 20, 2003 I'm trying to install thia and the instructions say 3)Add the following lines to EVERY SINGLE file in your catalog-directory RIGHT AFTER THE <BODY> TAG Does this mean including subdirectories?
