Guest
I am using the USPS module on a clients website. We are using the weights in pounds, anything that weighs less than 1 lb shows to weigh .94 pounds in the cart. Even if I put .99 pounds it says .94, if I put .01 it says .94 to the item in the cart. I did clear out my tare weights in the configuration >> shipping. Here is a link to an item I set to .02 pounds, try placing it in your cart and you will see what I am saying. http://northshoretradingco.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=
ridgebacktech
Hi, I am having the same exact problem. Does anyone out there have a solution?
kieran_mullen
I had problems with this too and I came to post here about it but I think I found out what the issue was Go to Administration and then Shipping/Packaging and change those weights. chimol
Check out this thread. Check your tare weight. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/topic/350439-ups-module-adding-3lb-to-normal-weight/ Quote Steve I appreciate all the help that everyone on this site has given me! ridgebacktech
The tare weight is set to 0 lb. I have tried 0.0, 0 and just leaving it blank. Regardless, for some reason 0.94lb is added to my shipping weight -- which removes the First Class option. First Class mail's max weight is 0.82 lb so you can see how this is a problem. chimol
Maybe try this hack, change tare weight to -.094 and see does anything. Quote Steve I appreciate all the help that everyone on this site has given me!
