csaxvik
Hi, wondering if you have updated with a tracking number capture feature for this. It would be great if the Canada Post tracking number can be pulled from the paypal site and pulled into $tracking_number like it is with your direct Canada Post label contribution. Perhaps this is not possible with the paypal system.

Sure, you can modify it as it's open source. I would add USPS, but I don't have a US Paypal account to test with :S
ptt81
well I have no idea how to make it work with USPS, is there anyway you can help? I know its probably not a simple modifications but im willing to try. This can save a lot of time copying and pasting info into PayPal shipping. Pinball
OK, I tried your other program for Canada Post and (as stated here) Canada Post doesn't work with small packets...leading to errors at stage 5 (I assume that is the reason). Â So, I'd like to install the PayPal version, so can I use both at the same time, or must I revert back to the default PHPs and then install the PayPal version as a new install? Â I ask this because a number of lines in order.php were modified for the Can Post labels program you made (thanks) and that makes it hard to figure out how to do the replacement of some of the code such as: Â ### Replace the following line: Â <td colspan="2" align.... Â So is it two programs that can can be run as desired, or must one uninstall Canada Post labels? Â Thanks! Â John :-#)#
Pinball
(The PayPal Canada Post site appears to charge more than Canada Post (VentureOne) for the same service level, box dimensions, weight, address... ($9.51 vs $6.25), so I am again trying to get the Canada Post label 1.2.3 working.)  Further to my problem with the program crapping out at Step 5, the PHP error/notice log shows:  Undefined variable: HTTP_POST_VARS in /usr/.../.../.../.../admin/includes/functions/ship_canadapost.php on line 123  repeats about fifteen times when I run the Canada Post label module and it stalls at: (starting with Step 4 which seems to work)  Step 4. csaxvik
When the label is created is there a way to capture the tracking number into a variable?
natrium42
When the label is created is there a way to capture the tracking number into a variable? PayPal doesn't return it unfortunately. But there are two ways that it could be done: (1) Route PayPal emails to a script that parses out the tracking number and updates the order (2) Use phpOCR or similar to read the tracking number from the GIF label
csaxvik
Noticed in last few weeks that more and more the paypal label is going to screen display without being saved. About 50% of the time it will save as it is supposed to, but rest of time the page will stop after payment and the label is displayed as sample on the screen as it would do if logged into paypal. Has anyone else had this issue?. Has paypal changed any settings or somehow changed code that would prevent the label from being saved? csaxvik
Love this mod. From today, we are getting sanity check failure in login. Is this because paypal has changed some server side call settings?
