i Downloadcheckout, i go to installation guide. There it assumes that you've already loaded the files!

If anyone can tell me where I would load or create the checkout by Amazon dir. it would be of great help. i.e.: do i load it at admin or modules? help any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Recently I installed Amazon payment plugin v2.1 for my default installation of osCommerce v2.2.

The Latest add-on for RC2 can be found here: (this is what I used)

http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6591

And the latest add-on for MS2 and RC1 can be found here (this has been branched out of the above):

http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6647

The latest version is Checkout By Amazon v2.1 for osCommerce.

I simply followed the Option 1 - FRESH OSCOMMERCE INSTALLATION as mentioned in INSTALLATION_GUIDE.txt.

My setup isn't perfect because:

1. Installation Notes mentions:

"Installing this plugin will create two new tables in your OSCommerce

database:

amazon_orders_lock

amazon_orders_products"

While these two tables were not created

2. I don't know how to sync Amazon orders in osCommerce. I clicked on the Button "Sync Amazon Order button", but I didn't get any new Amazon checkout order.

On a positive note, I was able to successfully use Amazon checkout to place a order (as a buyer) and cancel the order in http://SellerCentral.amazon.com (as as seller)

P.S. you'll need to have a :

- Checkout by Amazon seller account. All details are mentioned in the documentation in http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/6591

- a seperate Amazon account for the buyer

Hope this helps

hi,

you have to create the checkout_by_amazon under the root directory of your store. and then follow the instructions in the INSTALLATION GUIDE. once you have uploaded all the files, you have to install it via administration > Payment & administration > Shipping modules

let me know if you face any issues

Hi,

1. the tables which you have mentioned will be installed by Checkout by Amazon Payment module. please make sure that you have necessary permission to create tables from oscommerce code.

2. Order sync happens automatically. There will be delay in orders getting into oscommerce administration. Amazon generates the order only when it is ready to ship. you will have to wait for some time to get the orders. if you have to update your inventory instantly, please use IOPN.
