Eirik Posted May 1, 2009 Share Posted May 1, 2009 What I'm trying to wrap my head around are these contributions for search engine safe urls, I have done some searching and I find plenty on implementing and fixing the contributions. I however haven't found a explanation as to why you should implement this to begin with. Correct me if I'm wrong but correctly generated meta tags should be all that is required for accurate listing by search engines. As a side note I keep finding posts referring to preventing spider sessions, is there anything else that should be done besides updating your spiders.txt and keeping prevent spider sessions set to true?
