countrystyle 0 Posted April 20, 2009 I just enabled PayPal as a payment gateway and am now getting this error... This recipient does not accept payments denominated in WS_Error_XClick_Pref_Foreign_Currency. Please contact the seller and ask him to update his payment receiving preferences to accept this currency. Can someone please help me figure out how to fix this. Thanks. countrystyle 0 Posted April 24, 2009 I'm getting the same error message! My problem is that I'm trying to set things up to EUROS!!! I put a question in the Paypal box because the record that is displayed is an Paypal screen! I fixed my problem. Turns out osCommerce by default sets the currency code for Canadian Dollars as CDN but is is supposed to be CAD. PayPal gives that error to state that it does understand the currency being sent. Figure out what currency code PayPal expects for your currency and make sure osCommerce is feeding PayPal that code. You should be good to go after that. g
camolas_san 0 Posted May 18, 2009 Solved it Paypal needs to be defined as EURos and not as &eu!; So in the Admin area, I have switch in the currency menu to EUROS and now it recognizes perfectly!
