wider
Dear Colleagues, it really appreciate it if you could test my new site to bits. It should go live end of the week. It's on http://looks.seligmanfox.de Once live, it will move to http://www.looksluggage.co.uk I'd appreciate serious criticism with regards to design, functionality, bugs, concept etc. Please be hard!!! Thanks a lot for that! German
burt
Overall, rather nice. But: - Remove the scrolling javascript from my browser. It's annoying cheap and tacky, and spoils the site. - Colour scheme, not bad. The buttons do not really suit the infoboxes. - I'd change the tep_redirect in checkout_payment.php to FILENAME_CREATE_ACCOUNT - sales will be higher because of this. Overall, very good. wider
Thanks! Nice to see you again. Always the usual suspekts. Very valid suggestions! I'll address the javascript. (I just installed the contribution, didn't really like it, but was to lacy to code it out again.) You're right! The tep_redirect is also interesting. I wasn't quite sure at first. I was thinking it might make life harder for existing customers, but then, it the FIRST TIME BUYERS that we want to make feel welcome. The button situation is budget-related. Leared somthing! Thanks! German
Ramesh
I like it. Perhaps you could show a laptop /or wheel or someother common object next to the product to judge its scale (relative dimensions). I know you have dimensions written, but a picture is worth a..... gevans
I definetly like you colour scheme and simple layout. A couple of things stood out to me though. 1) Only two of your categories seem to have sub-categories. When browsing through the ones that have sub-categories the yellow downward facing arrow works fine but on the others it doesn't look right. I would suggest making the arrow point to the right and keeping it yellow. 2) Some of your category images are the same as the product images which I think can be a little confusing. On my site I tried to find different photos of the products for the category images so they wouldn't be the same.
