Guest
I am looking for a contribution that will allow us to support all of our customers through a web based interface and not have to use email (Like a trouble ticket system). I have messed around with the Support Ticket v2.6 contrib but to be honest it's needs a lot of tweeking and is still very buggy. I have looked at the latest help desk mod, and it looks very nice! But It's requires email which we want to get away from. Any ideas? We would be willing to pay for someone to write a crontrib for us and then we would donate it back to the OSC community. Thanks! Guest
Why not just use PerlDesk?
moyashi
John's charging for the new perldesk now. It porbably is worth it though. Quote NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
Guest
We do not mind paying for a help desk solution as long as in integrates with OSC. Will Perl Desk use the same username / password database as OSC?
moyashi
I used to be an early user of perldesk, but lost track of it's development a bit before the developer John changed things. I doubt that it would work out of the box with osC. You'd have to mod it to tie in with osC. Might have a better chance buggin Harald to add a bit more functionality tohis helpdesk hack. cheers Quote NewsDesk(934) / FAQDesk(1106) / OrderCheck(1168) :::
