toddd Posted November 4, 2008 Share Posted November 4, 2008 I was able to succesfully create a test download, download the file, but only after manually changing the order status in the customers/orders section of OSC.(sandbox) Is there a way that the order status will be automatically changed to allow download after payment approval by paypal? Having to approve each order manually isn't going to work as I want an almost instant transaction. About sales tax, New York requires each customer to pay their local tax. In Paypal I have set the status of the United States to active. So will that take care of the tax automatically? If so, my site is not going to reflect the total product value with tax included, so what do I do about that? Lastly, the paypal buttons. How do I incorporate the buttons seen on the paypal site? I see the code to cut and paste, but did not have any luck getting it to work. I would like to display their buttons to inspire more confidence in purchasers. Thank you for your assistance! True False API Username xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx API Password xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx API Signature xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Transaction Server Use the live or testing (sandbox) gateway server to process transactions? Live Sandbox Transaction Method The processing method to use for each transaction. Authorization Sale Payment Zone If a zone is selected, only enable this payment method for that zone. Set Order Status Pending Sort order of display. 0 cURL Program Location /usr/bin/curl A couple of questions: The settings you mention are on the Paypal end of this? Should I uninstall website payments standard, it appears to still be working with the original checkout button(I now have a paypal checkout button since installing IPN) Tax will be added in the paypal transaction? Paypal IPN isn't listed in my administrators panel under payment modules? I have turned IPN on in my paypal profile. The notification url-I have read that it isn't necessary to put 1 in? Payment was received, notification of payment was sent to the buyer's account. What didn't happen: the order status didn't change, and an encrypted DL code wasn't sent to the buyer. Can someone please help me get this last bit working, I need to get this site up and running. I apprecaite any help you can offer.
