I have EP uploaded and made this file with categories which is in my admin section under my temp file, but can't seem to get it to upload into my categories. I tried to start small and just upload my categories on a trial run.

File Manager

/home/sportsma/public_html/Mystore//temp temp

Name Size Permissions User Group Last Modified Action

.. drwxr-xr-x sportsma sportsma 10/30/2008 15:21:12

EP2008Nov01-0909.csv 311 bytes -rw-r--r-- nobody nobody 11/01/2008 09:56:11

EP2008Nov01-09094.csv 956 bytes -rwxrwxrwx nobody nobody 11/01/2008 10:09:34

Is there something I need to do with the file once it's uploaded into the admin or should it automatically be inserted in my categories section. Also here is the page I made in excel.

v_products_model v_categories_name_1 v_categories_image_1 v_categories_name_2 v_categories_image_2

1 Martin Archery

2 Raw Lures

3 CB Radios

4 Underwater Cameras

5 Fish/Depth Finders

6 Watersports

7 Handheld/Walkie Talkies

8 Metal Detectors

Any help would be appreiciated.

Believe it only creates categories and manufacturesrs as a by product of creating a product.

(But could be wrong)

Manually add one category and one manufacturer through your shop admin area.

Then add one product, including an image.

Export a file and add a second product/line to it. Make sure you use different categories and manufacturers.

Import the file.

Hey Presto......

Hey Presto......

Great! That got my Categories all listed. Is there a way I can take a bunch of products and put them under that one category? Maybe put a bunch of binoculars on the file and upload them into binoculars category? Then upload all the scopes etc. etc Thanks alot

For every product you want in the Category Binoculars put Binoculars in the v_category column
