Can osCommerce be used as a buy and selling ecommerce. If so how would i go about setting that up....

 

And if not is there a ecommerce for free or for a low price that is quility and functional.

 

Here is the secenerio:

 

Im working on a project for my college of creating a buy and sell used books so that students can sell there books to other students instead of using the book store since alot of students are getting ripped off....

LOL ::: I had that idea about 2 years ago while taking a College Web Dev course. I registered Bostontext.com and since then all I managed to do was let the registration run out and some Domain Hogging Company bought it.

 

It was a good idea, just a lot of competition out there.

Yeah, there were a lot of them when I had the idea. I'm not trying to pop the bubble, merely saying that there is a lot of competition.

 

But the book stores really pummel you with the crappy rate at which they will buy the books back. I wish you the best, just was sharing a personal tidbit.
