COD problem

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to set the cod fee, but in Order Total I only get these warnings:

Warning: main(/home/hjemmem/www/catalog/includes/languages/norwegian/modules/order_total/ot_fixed_payment_chg.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hjemmem/www/catalog/admin/modules.php on line 128

Warning: main(/home/hjemmem/www/catalog/includes/languages/norwegian/modules/order_total/ot_fixed_payment_chg.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/hjemmem/www/catalog/admin/modules.php on line 128

Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/hjemmem/www/catalog/includes/languages/norwegian/modules/order_total/ot_fixed_payment_chg.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:') in /home/hjemmem/www/catalog/admin/modules.php on line 128

Now, if I try and move that file to norwegian/modules/order_total, I lose the function all together. If I put it in both the language module and the ordinary one, it cannot redeclare. And if I put it in the ordinary module directory, the warnings come back aswell.

What to do..?

looking on the details of your errors, it seems to me that the ot_fixed_payment_chg.php file is missing.

This is the same problem you had earlier.

For every file in /includes/languages/english/...... and any directory in it, there should be one in /includes/languages/norwegian/.........

Not just /includes/languages/norwegian/modules/payment/....

I think I have one too many, actually... I get the "cannot redeclare" when I try and put it in both directories. It should be in the norwegian and the english directory - but what about the modules under catalog?

Or should there even BE one?

Have I messed this up completely..?

The files in the language directories should only have DEFINE lines in them, no code.

So if you have put any file in these directories that have any lines containing <?php delte them from there/take them out and put them back where you got them from.

Aaah, that was the culprit - two codes and only one define. The warnings are gone now - thanks a million! :)

But the cod fee still won't show up in check out, though, I get the option but not the fee... Any thoughts?

How then can you add a cost to the customer for COD???

You could try searching the contributions for one that does this and install it but with your record ........

:-)
