urban3k 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Are you talking about googleshipping.php(found in gc/library) becuase other than that I cannot think of any other shipping files which relate to Google checkout and the installation instructions didn't mention anything else also. Thanks for taking the time out to help me. respond Soon

maffud 0 Posted September 18, 2008 I posted there but nothing Ironically, I've just run into the same problem. I have everything with Google Checkout working perfectly except for the flat-rate shipping. It never gets added to the GC order total. There were some posts in the official support thread about a "shipping module generator" that apparently writes code that needs to be used within the site, but I haven't been able to find any solid information on what that is or how to use it. -Dan
maffud 0 Posted September 18, 2008 Now I've found that there is a "shipping_generator" folder in the googlecheckout folder, and it contains a README file that has instructions. I am going to try it now. Not sure if it will work for flat shipping, but it's worth a try...

maffud 0 Posted September 24, 2008 Can you tell me if it works I have not been able to figure out how to use the shipping generator module. I found some vague instructions and tried following them, but I get errors that I do not know how to fix. Frankly, I'm starting to look at other shopping cart solutions because this is so frustrating.
urban3k 0 Posted September 25, 2008 I'm thinking of adding another category named "If Paying via Google Checkout ..." And just have the user add the shipping manually but it won't look too good..
urban3k 0 Posted October 7, 2008 Anyone found a solution?
maffud 0 Posted October 7, 2008 I found a solution. I switched to Zen-Cart. I wish I would have done so earlier!
urban3k 0 Posted October 11, 2008 Lol thats a good one but I'm pretty happy with OScommerce store so any1 else
maffud 0 Posted October 11, 2008 No really. I actually found switching to Zen-Cart easier than trying to get Google Checkout to work properly in osCommerce. But, good luck.
