jhande
I setup a buyer and seller email account in the Sandbox. Also setup a Test site (wonder why it said $30 a month to use this feature?). I added 3 products into my osC shopping cart and proceeded thru checkout. All going well so far! After I pay for the products at PayPals Sandbox it redirects me back to a log-in screen at my osC shop. I log-in and end up at the beginning of the checkout process with the same items in my cart. I log-in to my PayPal test site and the transaction is listed, including all 3 products with price, shipping charge, buyer, address etc... Does it sound like the process worked correctly? I still have the items in my shopping cart, but I assume that is because nothing was sent back to my osC shop from the Sandbox. I also tested - Instant Payment Notification (IPN) simulator and that went well. Is there anything else I should check or need to fix while in test mode? I quess the next step would be to setup a personal account at PayPal and test in Live mode. But I am wondering if I can use the same bank account as I am using for my business account? fun2o
Nobody... ? Does it sound like the process worked correctly so far in testing? I have the same problem and observation. I need answers to the same set of questions. Like, despite the fact that I am using the same email generated for my seller account in the sandbox, the system still ask me to log into the PayPal Development testing area whenever I am trying to checkout. I actually dont know what I am doing wrong. Please someone assist.
satish
wonder why it said $30 a month to use this feature?: This is for Paypal Pro(virtual terminal) not for sandbox testing. In sandbox testing You need a developer account plus a buyer account and seller account within the developer account. jhande
wonder why it said $30 a month to use this feature?:This is for Paypal Pro(virtual terminal) not for sandbox testing. Satish Thank you Satish. I was a little nervous that PayPal might start charging me for the Sandbox. the system still ask me to log into the PayPal Development testing area whenever I am trying to checkout. I have read at the PayPal forums, that is normal. What you can do to resolve that problem while in test mode is to open another tab or browser window, log-in to your PayPal Test site and then run osC checkout. ;) Quote - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
