How to order the same product with different options?

It seems to be impossible to order the same product with another option than you've already chosen..

 

I order:

-1 T-shirt, black, L, with text: A

after that I decide I want to have the same T-shirt, color and size, but with letter B, so I order:

-1 T-shirt, black, L, with text: B

 

Then it goes wrong..

2 products become 2 the same product with THE SAME OPTIONS!!

 

It goes wrong met the productid, when I look in the shoppingcart I see this:

"good" product:

products_id=212

products_id=212{41}308 (size M)

products_id=212{41}309 (size L)

 

But when it's a product with a text option, the id looks like this:

products_id=83

 

I'm very very :blink: <_<

 

 

Anybody who knows how to solve this problem?

I would be very happy if someone could help me :rolleyes:

Use product attributes.

This is a functionality in oscommerce cart.

Exactly, create attributes for Size, Color and Text Version ( A or B). You can assign different prices to the attributes if needed as well.

 

admin>catalog>product attributes

Hi. Think I may have posted a similar question but dont think the answer is in Admin/Catalog. Its on the Installation and Config as "Product attributes changing the product image/s". Hope you can give help. Many thanks!
