Guest
Hi , I’m pretty new here think the software is really brilliant but am having some difficulty with the shipping module. First of all is the weight measured in lbs or kgs? Can it be configured? I read on the support that under “Shipping Modules/Zone Rates” there is a drop down but I don’t have that in the shipping module installed. Basically I need the following categories/configuration: UK 1st Class 0g to 3000g Royal Air Mail Europe 0g to 2000g Royal Air Mail rest of World 0g to 2000g DHL UK 3001g to 25,000g Royal Mail International Standard Europe 2001 to 14000g Royal Mail International Standard rest of World 2001 to 14000g Furthermore when a customer is registered as living in USA only the shipping for ROW should be available. Similarly when a customer in the UK orders something weighing under 3000g only UK1st Class should be added etc etc I’ve tried various configurations using templates I found on the support site but the shipping was never calculated correctly. This makes ma think that something maybe wrong in the basic configuration. What is the easiest way to configure these shipping modules? Thanks a lot Tim PS Please bear in mind that I am a newbie when you’re explaining how to configure the modules.
♥geoffreywalton
Make sure the tare wt is set to zero in the shop admin otherwise it will always overcharge. The wt is in units. Believe there is a place in english.php where you can edit and put in kg or lbs.
