Is this a cache problem?

Am trying to find the answers to so much at the moment that I'm going blind !!

Please could someone help me with a problem?

 

I have deleted two categories in my category box. First I deleted the image buttons that I was using for them, there were no products in these categories and then I deleted the categories.

I then used cache control to reset the categories but I still was getting a small white box with red cross in it in both places in the categories list where they used to be.

I used another pc to see if it was the same and they weren't there.

Two days later I am back on my pc and notice that they are still there on mine. It is very annoying!!

 

Can someone please tell me if they have had this problem and if so how did they manage to fix it? Please.......

Oh forgot to say and just added this bit in that I deleted my tempory internet files too to see if they were causing the problem but that's not it...

OOOOppppssss !!! Just found the problem. It was the cache control in oscommerce itself causing the problem.

Emptied the folder and it's gone.

Going to check rest of site now to make sure that nothing else is gone too!!!!
