Hello

I am using osc since 2 years as administrator and user.

here is my question.

Is there a switch to enable / disable the OS Commerce shop software?

While i am on holiday or i am ill i would like to disable osc complete

or to inform customers when ordering that orders are currently not possible

thanks for hints

You could install a down for maintenance contibution or install Textmaster and use that to add some text on various pages "Next delivery date is ....."

Or you could try searching the contributions, there may be a "holiday" one

Is there a standard mechanism in osc to start / shut down the shop which is checked

for every ?

--> "Hello Shop Page ... " as on /shop/index.php

--> "Sorry shop closed ..." ???

like every real shop has its opening hours and also closing hours ...

No, one of the features of a web shop is that it sells 24 x 7 x 365, even when you are not there.
