Solan 0 Posted February 6, 2009 The you either didn't change the option in the file (see the install file) or TextMaster can't handle something in the language file. If it works fine for English, then it's the latter. Jack Thanks for trying helping me out on this  Now i did try to compare the before error file with the later error file and there seem to be a lot wrong in there.. i just dont get why som much code can get changed when i dont edit any of the text, just click the update button and then get the errors when visiting my store.. PS. What do you mean by change the options.. i tought i didnt HAVE to do that, but now i will definently try that out..

Solan 0 Posted February 6, 2009 now i´m almost done trying to install it again *lol' So now i need you to help me understand this.. (do i have to do this if i start with changing my index.php) please explain as if i was a 2year old... USAGE: Go to admin->TextMaster and notice the two dropdown menus. The one on the left is for navigating through the directories. The initial directory is the languages directory. If you would prefer to start in the includes directory, edit the admin/textmaster.php file and change the line that reads
Jack_mcs 789 Posted February 6, 2009 There are two index.php files in a stock oscommerce shop: one in the root directory and one in the englush directory, or whatever language you use. The one in the root doesn't usually have text in it. If it does, TextMaster can't handle editing it. You should edit the one in the other directory. Jack Support Links: Need Help? Jack_mcs 789 Posted February 20, 2009 Yes, it will work with STS. When you edited the file in admin, did you get the green indicator showing it was saved? And when you go back to that page in the editor, does it have your changes? Jack Support Links: Need Help? See this thread and provide the information requested. Is your version of osC up to date? Jack_mcs 789 Posted February 21, 2009 No, I didn't say that. They can both be installed, you just can't use them both to change the index.php file. Jack Support Links: Need Help? Jmicki 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Hi, Sorry for the newbie question, but I can't figure out the usage step, USAGE: Go to admin->TextMaster and notice the two dropdown menus. Do I have to go to the admin through my FTP server, or through my domain name /admin? is it domain name/admin/textmaster? Thanks in advance...
Jmicki 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Please post the full contents of the english file that has that code so I can use it to test with. Jack Hi, I apologize for the newbie question: I don't understand your "usage": USAGE: Go to admin->TextMaster and notice the two dropdown menus. Should I be finding an option in the left column of the admin section (when I go to my domain/admin)? I don't see it, and don't know where else to look for it... Thanks
