How do i set this up ???

 

So far i have got this written in:

 

Enable PayPal Website Payments Standard

True

 

E-Mail Address

[email protected]

 

Payment Zone

--none--

 

Set Preparing Order Status

Preparing [PayPal Standard]

 

Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status

default

 

Gateway Server

Live

 

Transaction Method

Debug E-Mail Address

 

 

Sort order of display.

Enable Encrypted Web Payments

False

 

Your Private Key

 

 

Your Public Certificate

 

 

PayPals Public Certificate

 

 

Your PayPal Public Certificate ID

 

 

Working Directory

 

 

OpenSSL Location

/usr/bin/openssl

 

Now have i missed anything off to recive payments, also what do i have to change on my paypal (btw i have a business account on there)

Also what is Enable Encrypted Web Payments ???

 

Just seen this on another thread:

Go to your profile in Paypal and set the Instant Payment Notification to true and set the return to the full url of you site checkout_success.php

 

I cant find that section off the paypal ???

That looks similar to what I have, which works fine. Except I have put my email address in for the debug e-mail address too. You can test it out fairly harmlessly by making yourself a one cent (or one penny, whatever) item and buying it yourself.

 

The Instant Payment Notification thing doesn't jump out of the page, for sure. Here's how I get to it:

Log into Paypal

Click Profile link along top of form

Under the Selling Preferences column, I think what you really need is under Website payment preferences, where I have "autoreturn" set to ON, and the Return URL of my checkout_success.php page.
