Enable PayPal Website Payments Standard True E-Mail Address [email protected] WHERE YOU WANT PAYPAL TO SEND YOU EMAIL Payment Zone --none-- Set Preparing Order Status Preparing [PayPal Standard] Set PayPal Acknowledged Order Status default Gateway Server Live If you testing this will be paypal sandbox..... Transaction Method Sale Page Style default Debug E-Mail Address I used the same email address as above Sort order of display. 1 Enable Encrypted Web Payments True Your Private Key http://www.yourwebsite.com/folder/prvkey.pem I made a folder for all the various keys Your Public Certificate http://www.yourwebsite.com/folder/pubcert.pem Basically the same path as above PayPals Public Certificate http://yourwebsite.com/folder/paypal_cert_pem.txt Again basically the same as above Your PayPal Public Certificate ID This you get from paypal if you have an account and once you upload the appropriate keys paste that id number here. Working Directory /tmp OpenSSL Location /usr/bin/openssl Many of us get stuck getting the keys... I know I did. The ones my hosting service generated were in the wrong format for paypal. So I spent a great deal of time trying to figure how to get the keys, and doing many google searches. I encourage you to do the same. There places to get the keys if you are willing to look. I found it helpful to go to the paypal sandbox help and download the following pdf guides. Don't remember the exact url but spend time looking. If I can find them you can also. PP_Sandbox_UserGuide.pdf PP_WebsitePaymentsStandard_IntegrationGuide.pdf For me the most difficult part was configuring the paypal module. The paths to the various files. As for installing the paypal module that part was a piece of cake. The instructions were clear and concise and easy to follow. Oh yes... Read the sandbox instructions... You will feel like a blond soon enough - yea big red truck. Once I understood how the sandbox worked I realized I had most of my configurations correct all along. READ, READ, READ... There is a setting in Paypal profile that can be set to allow encrypted payment. This is useful in case you do not wanr a manual change in the Paypal submission form By a hacker. But with Paypal IPN in place the hacker tricks will fail so in most case You can skip using the certificate use for encryption.
