I have my store set up for paypal payments the last add-on, everything seems to be working but when a customer enters an order, and goes to paypal for payment the item number is not recorded so my paypal account show a payment but the item orders is my store name. nothing else. web-project
go to osc admin --> Modules --> Payment --> select the PayPal module, click edit, and set the "Transaction Type" to "Per Item" and save it. Guest
The problem is not with everybody, the problem how people incorrectly describe their problems without pointing which contribution they use and so on.use proper PayPal IPN contribution is my answer to you. I think there is a lot of confusion with regards to Paypal IPN payment modules. I was using the new one (PayPal IPN Module v1.0 For 2.2MS2) and was looking for help in the wrong places. I was read help and questions about (PayPal_Shopping_Cart_IPN) which explains why I could not find certain code  The later is far better IMO although it is older and takes more setting up for a nooby like me. mbozek
Add me to the list. I also have the Payflow Link option which is through Verisign which Paypal now owns, and it works fine for credit card payments. However, for foreign purchasers without credit cards, we need a standard Paypal solution so we added the Paypal module. But, we have no idea what our customers purchased. We activitated IPN but , as others, we do not have the Transaction Type option in admin. Is there an OsCommerce upgrade? the only option in Paypal IPN is On and return url. Help!
