dub3325
heya ttoomy...hopefully you still read these forums hehe. Was curious if I could pick your brain apart regarding the dynamic drive content slider you have going on with your thumbs. I'm assuming you are calling in the thumbnails dynamically. I understand the concept behind the content slider, but do not understand how you are calling in the thumbs, and adding multiple images per item. Can you please enlighten me? Thanks man, and keep up the amazing work. Vetty Chief Creative Officer ONO Tea |
dailce
I really like how you have multiple pictures in your product descriptions. How did you implement that with the numbered menu and next buttons?
ttoomey
I have the multiple images contribution and I combined it with a script from dynamicdrive.com (google featured content slider from dynamic drive and it should come up) The fading and everything is configurable from the javascript, and yes, the images come from OSCommerce's database. dub3325
ah, yea I found the dynamic drive script....and got it working very nicely...however, I have no idea how you have it being called in from the OS database. To my knowledge from playing around with it, you can either have it read from an html page, or you can hardcode the image you want in there. How did you get it to read from the db? ttoomey
The additional_images included module file has if/then statements looking for the images in the database. I wrap the content divs around those and it makes the nice little slideshow. Here's my additional_images.php file from the includes/modules directory <div id="slider1" class="contentslide"> <div class="opacitylayer"> <?php if ($product_info['products_image_lrg'] != '') { ?> <div class="contentdiv"> <?php echo '<img src="' . At the time I made the site I didn't realize that Zencart was basically OSCommerce but modded. I would have just used that, but basically now I have my own offshoot version of OSCommerce. desiredin
If anyone would like any code samples from my site let me know and I'd be more than willing to post. By all means. I don't have anything in particular I would ask for personally, but anything you think might be of interest to others would be excellent.
