ianric
Hi I am having probs with my site and it is Mcafee Internet Security Suite 2007, or rather the anti spam filter, causing the error and I would like users of Mcafee to try out my site. I am using the tabbed content with webFX contrib and on my product info page I have 2 tabs. The main one is the product info and the second one is More Images. When I pick on the More Images tab, I get sent straight back to the main index page without displaying the images on the tab. It even crashes locally using WAMP. If I uninstall just the anti spam then it works fine. I reinstall from the CD and it's still fine. It updates itself and it crashes. I have been in contact with Mcafee and they have suggested several fixes but non have worked. All I need is for people with Mcafee Internet Security Suite 2007 or 2008, IE 6 or 7 to goto my site pick on a record label, see the 2 tabs and pick the More Images tab and report back. It works fine as it should in Firefox. I only know me who is using Mcafee, I don't really want to go back to Norton and I haven't got another PC to test it, just incase it's my PC. I also like the tabs but the site is unusable if Mcafee anti spam is installed. Hope someone can help Many thanks Ian

Guest
No One?? Oh well. I have been in touch with Mcafee again and I've been escalated to a higher support level. THEY are phoning me within 2 business days. Ian dont rely on Mcafee higher level support. they will not call you. i had norton on my computer, this caused problems and after 3 days solid using their online chat service they could not provide a solution to my problem, so i removed norton and went onto Mcafee after contacting them to see if they were compat with my computer and was told YES, when problems started they suddenly told me that my comp was not compat with them. Now i am with Avast (free) and i have had no problems.

Thanks for the reply and cheering me up, not. Anyway, I did get a call and the technician used remote desktop or something and saw the prob. He has just finished and I am now fixed. Yipppeee!! He tried stacks of things but the prob was "mine". Even though I would never use the software or run into any probs windows HAS to be UPDATED FULLY. No critical updates missing. Let that be a lesson to yer. Cheers and I hope that comes across as humorous Ian
