1054 - Unknown column 'agent' in 'field list'

How do I fix this?

The real question is what step in the installation of a contribution was missed out.

 

I would guess the sql to update the db was not run.

No, I ran it. If I hadn't, it wouldn't be a matter of one field missing. There wouldn't have been a table at all.

 

The file supertracker_setup_db.php doesn't have a line to add the field "agent" into the supertracker table.

 

I should note that I also installed salestracker, so it's possible the problem is the interaction between those two add-ons.
