paypal_uk_direct_1_1 gives General Error

Guest

Somebody PLEASE help me make the paypal_uk_direct_1_1 module work.

If the payment method is Paypal Direct Payment UK, I always get this error “A general problem has occurred with the transaction. Please try again.”. Also, the error is not displayed inside the checkout_confirmation page. It can only be read from the url address bar as: “…../checkout_confirmation.php?error_message=Error%3A+A+general+problem+has+occurred+with+the+transaction.+Please+try+again.&osCsid=9165……..

Do I need to install something else except for the paypal_uk_direct_1_1 contribution? Just asking because it only contains 2 files (+2 more language variations) and I really need to get the direct payments to work.

I have created a Sandbox account with one seller and one buyer account. Both are verified and I use the buyers details to make test purchases. My checkout process is SSL encrypted and my server has Globals enabled. Also, my PayPal Manager account (for Website Payments Pro) has been linked to the Sandbox account and I have set up the module correctly (I believe):

Enable PayPal Direct (UK)

True

Vendor

mymerchantlogin

User

mymerchantlogin

Password

xxxxxxxxxx

Partner

PayPalUK

Transaction Server

Sandbox

Transaction Method

Sale

Card Acceptance Page

Confirmation

Payment Zone

--none--

Set Order Status

default

Sort order of display.

0

cURL Program Location

/usr/bin/curl

Please, tell me what am I doing wrong ????

PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK) Express Checkout
