metacharge datFulfillment

Hello All,

 

On installing metacharge module into OSCommerce and all working fine metacharge have requested that I add the following field:

 

datFulfillment char(10)

 

This is for a date the order will be fulfilled, in the format DD/MM/YYYY. May be

required as advised for Merchants typically selling travel or tickets.

 

To insert this I have added the following line (along side similar lines of code) in the metacharge.php file

 

tep_draw_hidden_field('datFulfillment', $order->customer['DD/MM/YYYY']) ."\n".

 

My worry is that simply adding in this line will not be sufficient? I have written no code, and merely localised the default oscommerce installation for Ireland. I have tested the payment module from metacharge and in test mode all goes through fine also. Is this field going to cause problems down the line if no data is being passed through it? Any info would be appreciated.
