henri
What exactly is going wrong i don't know now. But seems to be more things. -> banners shouldn't be loaded from ssl (this seems to be a missconfiguration of your shop, as it seems that it doesn't switch back) Then is puts weird slashes to the link, and don't know why the default pic is shown. Without more investigation I can't say anything... You can contact me: [email protected]
kooyan
and don't know why the default pic is shown. define('AFFILIATE_SHOW_BANNERS_DEFAULT_PIC', 'http://www.klosterbrauerei.com/webshop/catalog/images/banners/oscommerce.gif'); Oh sorry, don't care about the default pic. I renamed my banner to oscommerce.gif for testing purpose. It is showing the banner I draw. the only thing I wonder is that this is in the output ---- <a href="https://ssl.kundenserver.de/ssl.klosterbrauerei.net/webshop/catalog/product_info.php?ref=1&products_id=28&affiliate_banner_id=1" target="_blank"><img src="https://ssl.kundenserver.de/ssl.klosterbrauerei.net/webshop/catalog/images/" border="0"></a> ------ and this should be the output ------- <a href="https://ssl.kundenserver.de/ssl.klosterbrauerei.net/webshop/catalog/product_info.php?ref=1&products_id=28&affiliate_banner_id=1" target="_blank"><img src="https://ssl.kundenserver.de/ssl.klosterbrauerei.net/webshop/catalog/images/bock.gif" border="0"></a> ------------ bock.gif for the pic, or? kooyan
Having sold something to a customer via the affiliate link - the sales do show up properly in the affiliates page. But i can not Bill it. I set the threshold down to $3 but I can not get any bill having set. Whenever I press the "Start Billing"-Button it says "Your Affiliates have been sucessfully billed" - but nothing had been billed. Do I do something wrong? I have this problem :( and tried to solve it: Af-Config: E-Mail Address <[email protected]> Affiliate Pay Per Sale Payment % Rate 10.0000 Payment Threshold 50.00 Cookie Lifetime 300 Billing Time 1 Order Min Status 3 Pay Affiliates with check true Pay Affiliates with PayPal false Pay Affiliates by Bank true Individual Affiliate Percentage true I made the order yesterday but can't bill it. Order Status = 5 Where else can I look? Thanks a lot for helping me. Stefan

kooyan
I took the first question from the faq to show that I had the problem like described in the faq, but I wanted to show that I rtfm :D. Now, anyway, I set like you told me the billing time to 0 and it worked :D . It is a great contribution. Thanks a lot. Stefan
Guest
with version 1.0 and using MS1 I'm getting this error on the admin side when trying to access the admin pages. kooyan
That seems easy, there is no file 'affilliate.php' in this path '/home/huntseek/public_html/gear/admin/includes/boxes/affilliate.php' check it out. Stefan

gnehc
haven't gotten around to installing this yet (soon i hope) ... but, can anyone tell me if affiliate payment can be set to $0 or 0 percent? utilizing the above ... not sure if anyone might have mentioned it .. but the affiliate contribution can/is actually a very good way to see if those pay-per-click (etc) systems work for you. As, you can just give a different refer link to each system and see after a certain period of time -- if any type of sale is made from that link(referer). gnehc
fyi for anyone wondering .. i have this working on my 09/17/02 snapshot without a hitch so far ... though, i only have not tried a paypal transaction to see (paypal account problems!). -- but, for the affiliate's management ... think they need a navigation bar that shows on all pages (banners, clicks, sales). pressing the back button isn't too intuitive. -- any reason (security?) why affiliates are not able to modify their own information (payout to etc) after their account is created? *thanks for the contribution
Guest
All installed and working great, however a couple of things seem a little strange to me and I suspect it's me that missed something when installing. The summary that the affiliate sees appears to show earnings, clickthroughs etc for all the time since they joined the program, rather than just just the earnings for the current period. Billing works with no problems, but I had expected the summary to revert to zeros again and the payment info just to be transferred into the payment history section. The other thing ... the conversion rate doesn't seem to be calculating properly. Affiliate has 4 clickthroughs and 2 sales (50% conversion?) shows on the summary as 0.5%. This is easy to fix, but I couldn't see any other postings related to it, so again I'm wondering if I missed something when installing. Great contribution though :) Any help appreciated ...
