balloons
I have sts installed and a template installed and it does not look too bad. The problem I have is that when I turn on sts and I click on an image to enlarge it does nothing and a new pop up does not appear, but if I turn off sts and then click on the image, the image pops up in a new window as it should? Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong? I have been through the sts module settings but to no joy. germ
I went to your site, and the javascript for the popup script isn't in the <head> section now. Quote If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. balloons
Cheers germ. I take it that the javascript has to be in the head section of my web template? Can you tell me where I can gt the script so that I can put it in? It seems strange that if I turn off sts the the popup's work even without scipt in the head?!!! Cheers. balloons
Thanks for the help Germ! I read through your earlier posts and found out what I needed to add and have got the pop ups working now! I just needed to include: <!--$headcontent--> I put it in the head section after the link to the stylesheet and the pop ups are working great now!! Now, I dont suppose you would know why in Firefox I see ? instead of £. I have got £ in the currencies and changed USD to GBP but really need to get it right in Firefox as it works OK with Internet Explorer. Cheers for the help. germ
Maybe define the pound sign in the Admin like this: £ Edited December 10, 2007 by germ Quote If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. balloons
Whereabouts should I place the '£'? Not sure if you meant in the admin under currencies and if so where? Cheers.
germ
Admin --> Localization --> Currencies --> Euro (?) Edit that & put what I said in the "Symbol Left" field? Quote If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. balloons
Spot on Germ! Put the '£' into symbol left field as you said and it works a treat! Now it displays £ in Firefox and Internet explorer! I just need to get the hang of css and get my template to expand and contract and I am onto a winner! Thanks very much for the help, you have solved two of my probs! Cheers.
balloons
One more thing Germ. I want to specify how many items that the cart displays. If more than 5 items are in the cart then my template breaks apart so I want the cart to go to another page if more than 5 items are in the cart. Can you tell me where I can make the adjustments as I have looked all through admin but to no avail. Any help would be great. Cheers. germ
I'm thinking it's going to take a coding change in shopping_cart.php Search the forums, you may find something.
