Help: how to change the font color only for subcategory menu link?

i need a help for change the font color only for subcategory of products menu (standard menu of oscommerce).

With css stylesheet i change all href links of menu (category and subcategory), but i need to change font color ONLY for links menu subcategories....

This is also possible from the admin panel with insert code <font color="xxxx"> before name of each subcategory, but with this method the code <font color="xxx"> is also stored in url (i use ultimate seo) and in the form of section to search products :(' .

I search a "clean" method to change the font color of subcategories.
