Mrs Minx
Hi, I pay for my images and I wanted to try and make it REALLY hard for joe blog to download my photo or image from my website. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks :) Quote ---------------------------------------- Minxy :) "Keep plodding on to achieve your dreams"
digilee
yes there is, don't put them online. In all seriousness, there is no way to stop physical copies being made of an image that can be accessed in a browser. There are a few bits of javascript that make things difficult but ultimately there is nothing to stop people resorting to 'print screen'. ♥toyicebear
There are several ways of preventing right click (javascript) and also ways to stop hot-linking (htaccess), but the most hard-nosed of the joe blog's can get them anyway... The best way is simply to watermark all your images with your domain name..so if someone uses them then you atleast will get some "free" advertaisment out of it...
