UPS Estimator and Flat rate?

Hi everyone,

I'm somewhat new to oscommerce and we have run into a snag. Most of our products we ship UPS. However a lot of the items are shipped from the manufacturer because we don't keep a lot of inventory. Is there any shipping modules that just estimate the UPS charges and adds it to the order total, but does not actually charge me for shipping through UPS. I don't want to get charged through UPS and get charged from the manufacturer when I order the product for the customer.

Another problem: We also sell very large items, and they get drop shipped through the manufacturer too, but not through UPS. They are all shipped freight and obviously that is a lot more expensive. Some kind of zone or table shipping module would work for that and that's fine; but the problem I come into is that it is only for certain products. Is there any module out there that I can select what items qualify for UPS shipping and what items qualify for freight shipment. I need to be able to individually pick the items based on my discretion, whether I want to charge the customer UPS rates or a flat rate from freight shipment. Is there a such thing or is it going to need to be coded by someone?

Thanks in advance.

Shipping quotes are quotes, they do not charge you for the quote.
