Looking for an Addon for Item Options

Hello,

 

I'm looking for an addon that allows me to sell the same item, but to have different variations of it, but still listing it as one item. I want to know if there is an addon that allows me to have some sort of menu, where I can list colors or other options of an item that I am selling, so that I only have to list the item once, and not all of the variations of the item as multiple items in the catalog.

If i understand you properly i think you can do this with the default install of OSc2.2. You just define the different options in Admin --> Catalog --> Product Attributes.

 

If you add an attribute for each product it appears as a drop down list on each product page. So you have one product page with multiple options on it.

That is correct. You can add size, colour, etc as product attributes.

You are not able to allow quantity to tie in with size and color though it seems? This is vitally important that i am able to tie that together. Is there a way or am i mistaken?

 

If i have 10 of the same T-shirt design (Picture on front) but all in different size and color variations it seems i have to list each size and color separately. If i list them as one item with different sizes and colors there is no way to keep track of what size and/or color is sold out and therefore people can keep ordering styles that are out of stock.

 

This will be very, very time consuming if there is no way to tie it all together. Unless i am missing something?

 

Example:

 

Beatles Abby Road T-Shirt x10

x3 Small

x1 White

x2 Black

x5 Medium

x1 White

x1 Black

x2 Large

x5 Black
