captfc
Simply put: UPS server isn't answering when my shopping cart is knocking. This is what I get from the log file I created thanks to the people of this forum: Error from cURL: Error [7]: couldn't connect to host UPS RESPONSE: I posted a support ticket with my host and I got back: CURL support was enabled in the server. You can verify this by the url http://66.118.171.120/phpinfo.php. Please do check and let us know if you need any further assistance. with the php ini file: http://66.118.171.120/phpinfo.php Am I asking the right question or should I pack it in and move to another host? This is the last thing I need to get done before this cart is done and it's killing me.

We have seen that kind of time-outs with GoDaddy where you have to use special settings in the setup of cURL (in the upsxml.php shipping file) to go through a proxy they have set up for https connections. So perhaps you should ask if there is any special you need to do for https connections.
