Cafepress Merchandise

I've been looking for a way to integrate my existing Cafepress store with my new store, currently under development. I found a contribution that looked ideal (http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2977), and it works...up to a point.

It brings in the Cafepress store products page onto an OSC page called "merchandise.php". You can see it in action here:

Obviously, the Cafepress layout needs to be modified to fit into the new store's design, but that's not my concern at this point. What I'm concerned about is the errors that appear at the top of the page, both repeated once. They don't seem to be preventing the contrib from working, but obviously something is amiss:

Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of fsockopen(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in /usr/www/users/tokyoguy/catalog/merchandise.php on line 116

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/www/users/tokyoguy/catalog/merchandise.php:116) in /usr/www/users/tokyoguy/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97

Clicking on a product image brings up the relevant page, but with the same error messages above. The page includes the Cafepress "Add to Cart" buton, which takes you to the Cafepress cart but also opens a new, blank window. Problematically, the OSC "Continue" button at the bottom takes you back to the store main page.

So has anyone made anything of this 2005 contribution or developed a better version of it? I've searched the forums but found nothing. I notice the guy who wrote the original contrib (Anthony Bailey) uses it on his current site (though it doesn't look it's anything to do with OSC):
