Installing a Template

Ok, right now my template is the boring orginal grey. I've tried to change it to the blue and pink versions of it, but everytime I overwrite the catolouge files, something goes wrong, so then I delete all the files and install osCommerce again.

 

Can someone please direct me to a good layout that easy enough to be installed by beginners? I'm really new to this, and I tired of trying to install a template and then having it not working.

 

Does zen cart let you change the template easily? I'm starting to consider it since osCommerce is giving me such a hard time

Yes it does. Just upload the templates from the download page and choose which one you want from the admin. It doesn't get any easier to see your new site with each template than this.

Yes, it does. The Simple Template System does the same thing foe osCommerce.
