I tested your contribution and found no dokumentation, no working admin and not the right filedefinitions in the admin/includes/applikations_top.php

Then the boxes files for the support desk are not included.

Please check your quality before posting.

A packket should be full integrateable into oscommerce.

Please load up a full version of your package. This is not sourceforge here.

Gwinger, what the hell are you talking about?!

FOr one that has nothing to do with what Sen said, and second, what do you think this place is??

 

This isnt a place to come shopping for OSC mods for free!

If you want something and it doesnt work, FIX IT YOURSELF!

No one here is a charity, and lets say for arguments sake the code was Sen's, if you sue it you take the risk, after all every contribution has this next to it:

I cant believe the way you said what you did, and it was out of order.

Dont order ppl around like you own them or their code on here.

Everything is done by good will and in the open source spirit.

If it doesnt work for you, and you dont have the ability to fix it, dont use it!

For the record no i did not write it. I like to try it. Only the zip file is corupt. I thought the maker of the hack is not aware of this and thats why i ask here for the missing files/ or complete repack.

 

The missing files are:

pd_ticket_admin.php

install.txt

But A contribution should have implemented the whole code and for a programmer it should be easy to test a Zip package before posting anything.

Seems that you are able to fix everything, also when you have only the half of the data????

What do you think you are here, in a do it yourself workshop.

When I start to do an addon, I shouldn't post it as a contribution. There has to be a little bit of order here.

 

This maybe a contribution but nobody can anybody lese what to do when it comes to updating a mod.

 

If you think it is unfinished and wont work, email Harald and tell him, let him decide what to do with it, but dont ever think you can tell someone that they should finish it. If they decide not to, what then?

 

There is order, just maybe not the way you like it.

I know for one, if you had spoken to me in that way I would never update that code.

Why should I?

Becos you tell me to?! I dont think so...

 

Just remember how you speak to people, and remember the magic word.. please.

i have reused the original icon from helpdesk from snowman

 

Mistake here in install

8.) In english.php add the following

 

include('includes/languages/pd_add_english.php;

is

include('includes/languages/pd_add_english.php');

 

I also used the catalog/boxes/helpdesk.php from snowman that is missing in support ticket

 

and last i have an error in adding a new user

Apologies to all for the errors in the zip file, I have uploaded the program to my server, and is available at the following address

The zip file was tested before commiting to the contributions section of the main oscommerce site, and tested to be okay. However, I have a had a few reports back saying corrupt files are included.

 

I can only apologise for this, and I will dig my hammer out later to fix my machine and software.

 

The code is complete, however, it does require some cosmetic tweeks to complete the final look.

support is updated to version 2.2 in cvs in other tree

improved and easier ticket search for user

we have also added a login box for customer account

 

some translation are needed from the english file to spannish / german .....

please do not use the spannish or german to translate they are not up to date....

People have reported error's with other peoples tickets, being shown in their display. This has now been rectified, however there has had to be a change to the database , to include the customers id. This is because, the email variable used before was failing when the email address had a full-stop in it.

 

The new addition to the database is as below, all amendments can be downloaded fromteh cvs directory http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/elari/

 

edit your pd_ticket_data table as below

 

ALTER PD_TICKET_DATA ADD customers_id smallint(5) NULL default '0'

Seems working better...

 

Expcept that under the admin/index.php

 

In the left bar I get:

 

"Open Tickets 0

Reviews: 34 "

 

Why is that, althought I have round 5 Opened Tickets.... it still shows Opened Tickets "0" ( under Statistics in index.php ) :shock:

Yes we had a change in the database structure, and now use the status_id as opposed the status name. To correct this, look thoriugh your index.php for the ticket_query and alter to read:-

 

$ticket_query = tep_db_query("select count(*) as count from " . TABLE_PD_TICKET_DATA . " where ticket_status = '1'");

 

this line should be about line 175

Okay, there has been a new release of this package, posted on the contributions section. The zip file was tested before upload, but seems to be corrupt on trying to download, so I have placed a package on my server located at

The reason for the new zip, is I found a bug in the user interface, that was not allowing the ticket to be displayed, or was generating a page not found error, this has now been rectifed in the new release

I am getting this strange message:

 

1054 - Unknown column 'customers_id' in 'where clause'

 

select count(*) as total from pd_ticket_data where customers_id ='2'

 

[TEP STOP]

 

when clicking on Ticket Tracking "pd_ticket_tracking.php"

 

Solution ? :?

OK,

 

it seems there was an error with the SQL tables.

 

Never the less,

when a customer wants to open an ticket,

under:

 

Departments:

 

as well as under

Priority:

 

there is NO OPTION to choose from. ( like before we had under priority: Urgent, less urgent...)

 

Why is that?

 

How can I et back the Prioritys and Departments added ?

 

Please help is fastly needed :(

You would need to run the following into your database again:

 

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_dept VALUES("1","Sales");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_dept VALUES("2","Billing");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_dept VALUES("3","Support");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_dept VALUES("4","General");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_priority VALUES("1","Low");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_priority VALUES("2","Medium");

INSERT INTO pd_ticket_priority VALUES("3","High");

 

That would fix your problem. :P
