Guest
I'm new to the oscommerce scene, but have managed to install and setup my site. The next step however is for my to list my site in search engines. I've played around with the HTC contribution in the past, but it didn't really make sense to me - or I was being thick. What contribution(s), would you advise to install to a fresh oscommerce install so that it is optimised for search engines? Also, what's the best way for me to name each page of my site? Do it individually, or is this a facility of HTC? Cheers, Steve
Jack_mcs
HTC should be installed. There are other meta tags contributions but if your goal is to optimize your site, HTC is the only choice. For the URL's, you should install Ultimate SEO. There are other SEO contributions and they have been discussed many times here. You just need to search the forums. But the top two will optimize a large part of your shop.
