Guest
Hi Illicious You should have cURL compiled with your PHP The script check this: if (function_exists('curl_exec')) { echo 'cURL present'; } else { echo 'cURL NOT present'; }; If curl_exec does not exists surely cURL is NOT compiled in your PHP. I hope it helps! Best regards
Jason
Hi, this probably sounds (and is) dumb... What is cURL and what advantage does it have here? Thanks
m5n6
Pablo, the version for the new checkout seems have a typo in checkout_paypalipn.php this line does not affect shipping if (MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPALIPN_ADD_SHIPPING_TO_AMOUNT==1) { i changed to this line, and it works. if (MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPALIPN_ADD_SHIPPING_TO_AMOUNT=='True') { David
Guest
this probably sounds (and is) dumb... What is cURL and what advantage does it have here? Hi Jason cURL allows you to connect to the secure website of PayPal instead of their common website. PHP does not (yet) support connections to https, so if you have cURL compiled in your PHP, the module makes use of it. You can learn much more about cURL (it is useful for a lot of other things!) in their website: http://curl.haxx.se I hope it helps Best regards

Guest
Hi All Now there is a new release v0.95 that fix that problem that David saw. David, I forget to thank you in the whatsnew.txt file that was just released. The thanks will appear in the next release. Sorry :( Everybody that upgraded to v0.94 should now upgrade to v0.95 because of that problem. Users of v0.93 or previous will not have that problem Best regards
