♥FWR Media
I'm guessing at your meaning, but if you mean what i think you mean .. Configuration>Sessions>Prevent spider sessions> True And make sure you have the latest spiders.txt .. see contributions. Hi Robert, Thanks for your reply I have the spider sessions = true and I did add the latest spiders.txt but when I click on any product I still have the osCsid as following example : http://www. qazaebooks.com/membership-site-manager-p-94.html?osCsid=10fa6d148dc08865d4132f5f1f3c9396 the force cookie use = false, surely if it is true I won't get that URL I could not solve that Any other suggestion ? Thanks again for your help Regards
♥FWR Media
Leave it alone is my advice. The osCid is vital to the working of sessions and as long as you have .. Configuration>Sessions>Prevent spider sessions> True The spiders wont index the osCid so you're fine. ♥Vger
The spiders wont index the osCid so you're fine A little explanation is in order :D 1. Spiders which are listed in the spiders.txt file won't create session ids - but this is a basic list and years out of date. 2. All spiders not listed WILL create session ids and this can wreak havoc with your website and customers in the future. 3. A partial solution (90 % effective), download and install the Large Spiders Txt contribution. It is kept up to date with most known spiders. 4. Force Cookie Use can only be used when you use no SSL or Full SSL - it cannot be used if you use Shared SSL. 5. Force Cookie Use, whilst removing the session id from the address bar, does not remove the session id or break the session trail - the session id is instead stored in a cookie on the customers computer. ♥FWR Media
Nice explanation Vger  For my own purposes if spiders.txt only contained google it wouldn't create too many problems for me :D Quote Ultimate SEO Urls 5 PRO - Multi Language Modern, Powerful SEO Urls KissMT Dynamic SEO Meta & Canonical Header Tags KissER Error Handling and Debugging KissIT Image Thumbnailer Security Pro - Querystring protection against hackers ( a KISS contribution ) If you found my post useful please click the "Like This" button to the right. Vger Robert , Vger Thanks for your advise, very kind of you I kept the spider session True and installed the large spiders txt. Re the force cookie I had to kept it False, I hope that won’t effect any thing. Thanks again you for your assistance Best of luck Ahmed
