I almost give up on 2Checkout

Recommended Posts

After 2 day working, i almost give up on 2checkout . The problem with multiple currencies (default not in USD) can not be solved until now (contribution904, pm2checkout 2.1b).

Anyone else face the same problem with me? Wrong amount on 2checkout page?

I also working on the same contribution.

I am considering changing to another credit card payment system.

1. There is a default currency in all 2CO account. If the default currency is US. 2co expect all cart request is in US.

2. If customer use UK in OSC, then we post the form to 2CO, we convert the x_amount ( cart total) into UK first and also pass a value tco_currecnty with UK.

3. 2CO convert the UK value back to US.

4. Customer will lose since the UK value in OSC is different from 2CO ( 2CO value is always higher due to the exchange rate)

5. We lose customer because of this.

I think it problem can't be fix. It is a limitation of the 2CO cart parameter.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

It will be very good if someone can show me how I can

1. Customer in OSC selected UK with total 30.

2. I directly pass 30UK to 2CO. ( my 2CO is in US, anyway I can only have 1 default value in 2CO)

3. 2CO don't do any convention and display it .

please help

if 2CO is accepting only in default USD currency, you can convert all your sales automatic in USD, by using Display Price in Default Currency v1.2 contribution

(http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,3333), customers will see the price in their currency but will be charged in USD, this way will be no difference in sale price, correct me if I wrong.

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
