I'm using a shared secure server (with a different name to my domain name) for the user account pages. The user account pages etc are all in the secure area. The problem is when you have selected your products from the non-secure part of the site (the catalog) then you go to checkout and it swaps to the secure server - all is lost from the cart. If you then browse the catalog again it takes you back to the non-secure areas (and it logs you out automatically) but then you see your items are still in the cart in the non-secure area. Then you try and checkout again - back to checkout (SSL) and they are lost again. Is the problem with not having my own secure server certificate that matches my domain name - or should I be able to get this to work on a shared secure server anyway?
