News Scroller ~ Where did BlueDogs's news scroller end up?

I downloaded and integrated Walter's news scroller. In the admin section of osc it gives you a link to Edit News which for me gives me a error. I'm guessing that is the part where in his readme file he says: "there is no admin section, i work it when i can :-) "

 

Anybody played around with this since August?

I use it at www.wizardsandwars.com, and I get the same error.

 

I sent him an email about it, and he says that for now, you have to edit the news.txt file directly.

 

Still, its a GREAT contribution.

Ime useing it at this site i chose to let it be edited by hand from the start

and just upload a new version when needed

I am using it too. In my internet explorer (the ones that comes with windows XP) works perfect, somre friends with the same navigator can't see the scroll; just doesnt load nothing in the box; and other friends can see it.Any one knows why is this?

i've got it; hope this helps more people; the problem was that some friends had the java virtual machine and others not. that was the only problem. Windows update; and all OK.
