freedmini
Hello everyone, At the moment I'm building my first oscommerce site and well i have to say its all going great. I'm looking for a contribution and don't know it it exists cause well the contribution part of the site is a bit messy. I assume if it exists it would be other features. well let me describe what i want and maybe someone knows exactly what i need. The website I'm doing sells exclusive chocolates and the idea is that you start by selecting a box then the colour, then the chocolates and end by choosing a card to go with it and then end up with the product you want. so i want some kind of feature that you select a box from a drop down box and then because you selected that option it automatically hides the options in the next drop down box that cant be selected with that particular box. does anyone understand what im trying to say or should i give it another try. Micke
Hi freedmini! I don't think there is such a contribution to pull right out of the hat... Maybe the guys developing the Custom PC creator contrib has the dependency function working? Selecting a certain PC processor leaves you with one set of sockets and so on... Same thing as you are looking for, really.. //Micke
freedmini
thanks for your reply, well I've actually started doing something myself. the idea is that you select a product from a drop down menu and then the attributes of that product show up. I've managed to get the products in a drop down menu now i just need to figure out on how to call the attributes of the product. any suggestions are welcome.
