zoltan.pocza Posted November 11, 2006 Share Posted November 11, 2006 Hi Guys It seems I have some problems....in my shop, we have proper SEO'ed URLs, each generated pages containing the proper Meta Tags, the Image Alts are set properly as well, but google simple does not find it. I have no clue why...I even have google sitemap installed, and it seems it's working properly! Here's an example: The shop is at http://store.carrierbuilders.net If I type in "F-14 Last Cat Standing Print" to google, it gives this result: F-14D Tomcat VF-101 Grim Reapers, AD164 / 164342 / 2004- A2 Size ...Specilizing in aviation art prints, posters and originals from the greatest aviation ... F-14 Tomcat-> (106) LAST CAT STANDING (9) VF-101 Grim Reapers (8) ... www.carrierbuilders.net/store/ f14d-tomcat-vf101-grim-reapers-ad164-164342-2004-size-p-58.html - 33k - Cached - Similar pages [ More results from www.carrierbuilders.net ] In the last line it's clearly visible, the the SEO is working, but this product should not show up for these keywords. Also I noticed, that there are product categories listed here, that's why it finds the "Last Cat Standing" phrase. I have lot's of similar results, but none of these are pointing correctly to the related products. I tried to enter the exact product title to google, but in most of the cases it gives no results at all, or gives wrong results! Here's an example: Keywords "F-14D Tomcat VF-213 Black Lions, AJ213 / 164602 / 2006" gives this incorrect result: F-14A Tomcat VF-111 Sundowners, NL200 / 161621 / 1989 - A3 Size ...F-14A Tomcat VF-84 Jolly Rogers, AJ200 / 160393 / 1977 - A3 Size ? F-14D Tomcat VF-213 Black Lions, AJ213 / 164602 / 2006 - ? It seems that the product titles, descriptions are not read by google, while the texts in the sideboxes are. I'm wondering if it could be because of Simple Temlate System I'm using?
