Guest
After trawling the enormous number of threads in this forum, googling and searching to the n'th degree, I've failed to find an answer to this question; I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. I've just installed the PayPal IPN contribution ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 ). I want to enable Encrypted Web Payments. I have seen this thread ( http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=166092 ), and understand how to generate the public and private keys. However, my site already has a Geotrust Premium SSL paid for, in place and working. These are my questions: 1) If I generate a public/private key using openSSL, will it effect my exisiting SSL certificate (currently used for https:// etc.) in any way? 2) After generating the keys, can they be stored in a subdirectory of the 'catalog' folder, or do they need embedding deep in the server's root directory/alongside my Geotrust SSL key (wherever that may be)? Thanks in advance for your time and effort in answering this question, and to all those that have made this forum a very useful resource.
