rjfernandez
I see that when you add a product category, it does not ask for the names of the category in the different languages installed. Is this possible right now? I checked the database and the categories table does not have field provisions for this. If not, is this a feature to be implemented in future versions? Can it be possible to do with current 2.1 version? Thanks Rodrigo
tvengel
Hello People, i'm interrested in the answer too. I have a demo currently running, but that's one thing that I really need. I looks very bad if you have a site, for example in Dutch, French and English, and the categories in all languages are displayed in English. Is there some solution for this problem, or did someone solve this problem with some kind of 'hack' ? Regards, Tim
rjfernandez
I just looked at the demo for 2.2 and it does have the capability of multi-language for category names and product descriptions, so if you need this, you will have to install 2.2 instead of stable 2.1 Rodrigo
rjfernandez
Also, 2.2 has provisions for having the manufacturing names in muti-languages, so another reason to implement 2.2 if you need a true multi-language store.
