One more: 9/11 snapshot: web form chokes on "state&quot

Recommended Posts

Per my previous message about my attempt to upgrade from a march snapshot, I'm testing the order placement procedure, but when trying to create a new account, it won't let me get past the username / address / password page and constantly comes back with:

Errors have occurred during the process of your form!

Please make the following corrections:

<p>

* The "State" entry must be selected.

Any help is appreciated.

..the "state" field doesn't like the two-character state abbreviation. Typing out the whole state name ("new york") will produce a match.

This one's killing me :shock: . Customer's will never figure it out.

Is there a previous snapshot that doesn't have this issue? I'm assuming the match coding isn't complete yet... I guess I'll try to edit that page.. suggestions appreciated.

..the webform not accepting two character state codes might have been a recent development problem, but the create_account.php page is date 7/21.. obviously others have been deploying it since without this reported problem.

This is really the only thing keeping me from putting the upgraded site into production. Any help would be greatly appreciated at this point.
