How to install new language to osCommerce?

I have installed osCoomerce ver. 2.2 and also downloaded the Norwegian translation files. No matter what I do I get various errors and the shop does not work properly. After extracting the language files i get 2 folders. Admin/Norwegian + a norwegian.php files. The other folder is Catalog/Norwegian + a norwegian.php file. I have added these fodlers where the other language folders are located.

 

Is there something special wich has to be done?

If I understand you correct, then You have the wrong folder structure. It should be as the following folder structure:

 

admin/includes/lanquages/norwegian.php

admin/includes/languages/norwegian/ ( *.php languages support)

 

catalog/includes/lanquages/norwegian.php

catalog/includes/languages/norwegian/ ( *.php languages support)

 

Finally you must add norwegian in the admin-module.
